BLS/CPR Skills Checkoff

Class Description:

PLEASE NOTE: Prior to registering for this class you must successfully complete the American Heart Association online course. For more information, please visit the American Heart Association website.

In addition, you MUST bring a copy of your printed completion certificate from the online course or you will not be able to complete the American Heart Association Skills Checkoff portion of the exam. You must show up to class on time or you will not be able to complete your checkoff.

Class Objectives: To validate the students CPR skills. Students must complete the skills validation test with an American Heart Association Instructor. Upon successful completion of both parts, students will be issued an American Heart Association BLS – Healthcare Provider Course Completion Card. The student has 60 days from the date on Part 1 certificate to complete the skills validation.

Intended Audience: Students holding PART 1 of the HEALTHCARE PROVIDER ONLINE COURSE CERTIFICATE
