Class Description:

PLEASE NOTE: This course is for non-healthcare professionals. If you ARE a healthcare professional, please register for either the BLS/CPR Course or BLS/CPR Recertification Course.

This course teaches CPR, AED use, relief of choking in adults and children, and infant CPR and relief of choking, and use of barrier devices for all ages. Successful completion of the skills test is required for certification. No written test. There are no renewal courses for the Heartsaver curriculum This is a 2-year certification.

Class Objectives: Adult first aid (general principles, medial emergencies and injury emergencies). Adult/child CPR with mask. Adult/child AED, Optional Environmental emergencies infant CPR with mask.

Intended Audience: Non clinical personnel, such as coaches, oil workers, construction workers school personnel.
